Scholarships
To be eligible for the Paisanos of East Texas Scholarship Fund, applicants must:
- Be a resident of East Texas or have strong community ties to the region.
- Be a high school senior, current college student, or someone pursuing vocational training.
- Have a minimum GPA of 2.5 (or 3.0, depending on the scholarship).
- Demonstrate financial need.
- Show a history of community involvement and extracurricular activities.
- Submit a personal essay and letters of recommendation.
These requirements are designed to ensure that the scholarship goes to students who not only have academic potential but also demonstrate commitment to their community and the future of East Texas.

Recent Scholarship Recipients
Our newest scholarship recipient, Gersain, is attending LETU pursuing a Civil Engineering Degree.
While there, he plans to play for the Soccer Team and be a part of the Honors College!

Alexander plans on attending SFA for an Accounting degree. While there, he will play in the Lumberjack Band to continue his love for the drums.

Jaden is currently attending The University of Oklahoma studying Kinesiology. He plans to graduate with his Bachelors in Health and Exercise Science. He also plans to maintain his 4.0 GPA and graduate with a Summa Cum Laude designation.

Caleb plans to graduate from Kilgore College with his Associates Degree in Medical/Health Science and then attend Texas A&M to pursue a degree in Neuroscience and continue on to Medical school to return and make a positive impact in the community.
